Some songs are so popular that they are recorded by various artistes. Sometimes as a direct rendition and others as reworks and some very different interpretations.
The question is, which do you prefer... This? or That?

So, to begin.

State of Independence

Jon and Vangelis or Donna Summer?

Make your choice and then add another for the next person to choose.

Fleetwood Mac or Santana?

Sorry, I meant to get more into this thread but my brain froze trying to parse the idea of Donna Summer covering Jon & Vangelis . For Black Magic Woman, definitely Santana.

"Sound of Silence"

Simon & Garfunkel, Disturbed, or Pentatonix (last one is below, others probably need no introduction)?

I'm torn myself. Love the original but the Disturbed cover took it in a darker, more emotional direction and the new Pentatonix cover, which basically starts from the Disturbed version, is just one of the best overall arrangements of the song I've ever heard.

A mighty warrior meets an unusual challenger. The Last Challenge of Jadek Prynn.

Well, I have to say that the Pentatonix version is superb.

I never had time for Glee and so, never watched it but, one day, I saw a clip and it brought tears to my eyes. It still does whenever I hear it.
Barbara Streisand is a tremendous singer but when I heard Lea Michele sing 'Papa, Can you hear me'... Well, what do you think?

Glee did some amazing covers.

I prefer The Snowman version of Walking in the Air.

Tumbling Dice by Linda Ronstadt or the Rolling Stones?

I am very partial to Linda Ronstadt

Got to hand it to Linda, an excellent cover but... still the Stones for me.
I wonder which way this will go. Elvis or ZZ Top...
