Awesome... and I agree, no chocolate in tea unless it's because your chockie bikkie flopped in.... an occupational hazard when tasting a new brand. All chockie bikkies should come with a recommended dunk time on the packet. Could call it a 'Mississippi Rating'... one Mississippi, two Mississippi and such Do you have a fav chocolate biscuit? Mine would be McVities Digestive... the dark chockie in pref to the milk. They even have them in France! Neat packaging I can supply a 'Mississippi Rating' for both. Unlike the French to make a culinary faux pas. They are from Scotland, not England!

Not usually a beer drinker (though I have had some that I like, including Stella Artois) and really not fond of stouts, but I'll ask my beer gourmet son, who is fond of stouts, if he has heard of this. Choco Liebniz (Dark) - The best and most fun chocolate biscuit ever. I believe there is a law which requires that the chocolate be nibbled from around the edges before biting the biscuit. There isn't? Well there damn well should be!

Morning all! Freezing cold day today with strong winds blasting our islands. A nice, hot cup of tea would go down very nicely! ☕

Glad it's lovely somewhere. 10-15cm of blowing snow with a squall warning is our forecast. *Puts on kettle and finds some Earl Grey* The Goddess Dances - Winner - Cheers to 10 Years Flash The Berry Girl - Third place - Summer Word Bank

Morning Larry, morning Meg! Happy Thanksgiving, all! Glad the weather was good for you yesterday, Larry and looking forward to your story! It was a foul day here yesterday, so I'm looking forward to a walk by the sea today. It's cold but clear and bright. Lovely! I'll take a coffee to warm me up beforehand. ☕

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Enjoy the day and don't knock yourself dead on Black Friday. The squalls missed us and we just got a dusting. Temps are below normal for this time of year, though, so we're still freezing our little butts off. Sunny, though. I now have a tooth running on two roots (should have three). One root has been giving me grief. It was root-canaled years ago but split somewhere along the line so my dentist finally removed it. In pieces. He went overboard with the freezing, too. * gets hot water and some orange pekoe * The Goddess Dances - Winner - Cheers to 10 Years Flash The Berry Girl - Third place - Summer Word Bank

We'll be giving thanks at my wife's brother's home today. I'm having a last cuppa java now before setting off. It's only about forty minutes down the highway. Hoping all are lucky enough to have family and friends they may share some joy with today.

That's ... different. So a double shot of espresso could cure your insomnia? The Goddess Dances - Winner - Cheers to 10 Years Flash The Berry Girl - Third place - Summer Word Bank

rune wrote:Yes Interesting. Your body must metabolize it differently from most. I don't drink coffee myself. I'm a tea drinker through and through in case you haven't noticed already. My tea du jour is Blueberry Jam from David's Tea. Black tea with blueberries and cranberries. Yummy. I've been writing but I'm not sure about where to take the story. I could do it as a straight romance or I could 'sex it up'. Of course, that decision will then determine which site gets it. It's an old idea that I'm trying out for the umpteenth time (in the past, it was definitely headed for 'sex it up') so we'll see if it makes it this time. Do both versions, post one at each site. It's been done before.

It'll be one of those "see what happens" things. And I've contemplated alternate versions of stories before and the usual conclusion is that the first version is the one I want "out there". The Goddess Dances - Winner - Cheers to 10 Years Flash The Berry Girl - Third place - Summer Word Bank
