Hello, hello today. We have our coffee brewing and water is simmering, ready for tea and cocoa. Not a lot is going on this weekend. There is little chance of moisture today in the weather which is good. We've had so much rain and such that it has brought on a fungus that is attacking the sycamore trees in the neighborhood. That is not good. So, I'm happy when the rain passes us by now. Let's all have a nice Sunday.

Morning, Larry. Thanks for the coffee and for leaving a cookie or two for the rest of us. ;) Nicola's other site appears to be, not just down but WAY down. Even the email notifications seem messed up. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch and not a major FUBAR. ;) OF WAR, AND PEACE, AND MARY BETH: my contest winner, honestFor Whom the Good Tolls an 'RR' and it's short, no kidding

hi everyone A beautiful day in the neighborhood. Birds chirping and butterflies fluttering about. A large tea would be fantastic Not much going on here today kind of a laid back sunday Sports are slowly reappearing it looks like. NASCAR is running a handful of races without fans in the stands to see how it goes. Arizona is slowly reopening but people are still being careful for the most part. I have cookies today : chocolate chip cookies shaped like bunnies, white chocolate chip cookies shaped like butterflies, oatmeal raisin cookies shaped like tulips and ginger snap suns All are diabetic friendly too *cleaning out the crumbs in the cookie jars and filling them to the tippy top with fresh cookies * *giving the adorable mascots fresh cold water and treats * Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe!

Good morning, all. I'm up a few minutes early today, so the coffee is going to be ready a tad quicker. It is percolating presently. And the tea kettle is on the stovetop. Lovely day outside. I may have to break down and do some gardening. I need to put a border around the garden in back to retain the pebbles that surround all the plants and shrubs. Let's have a good day, shall we?

Morning to all Inspired Stories Spacers. Larry, that coffee is downright drinkable. If there are a few of Sara's cookies left, I'll try to take care of both them and the java. It's a tough job but when the going gets tough, it's time to sit, drink coffee, and eat cookies, imo. ;) OF WAR, AND PEACE, AND MARY BETH: my contest winner, honestFor Whom the Good Tolls an 'RR' and it's short, no kidding

Good day, folks. The coffee is on its way and the water is simmering. Nothing planned today. Just listening to the yard service mowing the lawns for the week. I'm sure there are still Sara's cookies in the jars.

Coffee! For the love of suffering humanity (at least this particular, maybe even peculiar, carbon-based lifeform, coffee. A handful of Sara's cookies would also be a major kindness. Ah, now that's mo' better. ;) OF WAR, AND PEACE, AND MARY BETH: my contest winner, honestFor Whom the Good Tolls an 'RR' and it's short, no kidding

Seems like we inspired Stories Spacers are all getting a late start. But better late than never, thus sayeth the old cliche'. That is especially true when there are cookie jars filled with Sara's cookies and both the coffee pot and tea kettle are ready to provide their own variation of caffeinated fluid to go with dem cookies. Y'all enjoy your late start. OF WAR, AND PEACE, AND MARY BETH: my contest winner, honestFor Whom the Good Tolls an 'RR' and it's short, no kidding

Morning to all inspired Stories Spacers who enter seeking coffee or tea and a sampling of Sara's cookies. In the skimpy, C19 fun news category comes the following: Burger King Italy has playfully added another layer to social distancing with the debut of a new Whopper , triple-loaded with onions, to keep others at a safe physical distance amid the pandemic. I'm here to report that there is hot fresh coffee and water for DIY tea plus a generous supply of Sara's cookies -- that is except for the oatmeal raisin. ;) OF WAR, AND PEACE, AND MARY BETH: my contest winner, honestFor Whom the Good Tolls an 'RR' and it's short, no kidding

Hi, there friends. I've been experiencing computer issues. My newest machine will not accept typing. I'm using my relic that has it's issues as well. Bear with me. I'm happy with the java, Bill. Time I had my 2nd cup.

Finally back home, where I can drop by and say Hi! My Pear tree blossomed on time this Spring but my dogwoods are all just blossoming now, and my apple trees have just began to blossom. With all the rain the past few years, just about my entire tree cove has doubled in height! No exaggeration. I am hoping to put in some poplars and maples. Then I will have a nice tightly cropped mix of about 6 deciduous and 2 conifer, types. The first six types are tightly planted to insure competitiveness for sunlight. The reason for it is to produce trees with the harder wood than trees that are spaced on a tree farm.

Hello everyone! Nice to get a chance to pop on here and catch up with all your news!
So glad to hear your momma is recovering from her op Sara. Big hugs to you!
It's a Bank Holiday this side of the pond, but no special commemoration, just a rather uninspired 'Late Spring Bank Holiday'! Not very spring-like today as it's cold with gale-force winds!
I'll grab a coffee and some of Sara's delicious sounding cookies.

How y'all are? Always a good day when it begins with and early morning visit from our Henrietta-unit. Someday, someone might be able to clue me in on the backstory of 'Bank Holidays'. No doubt it's tedious and boring but then so is my life story. ;) The really good news is Ms H. did not take all the cookies prepared by Ms S., he says, cryptically. Later Spacers. Not sure about the UK but in Canada, a "Bank Holiday" is when government offices and regulated corporations, like banks, get a holiday but the rest of us do not. Schools often get them, too. For instance, at Easter, Good Friday is a a statutory holiday, meaning everyone gets it off, but Easter Monday is a bank holiday, meaning government offices and schools are closed, but most everything else is business as usual.
