Any one else attending Remembrance Ceremonies tomorrow morning?

I am going to the Cenotaph with my cousins. Rain is forecast and if President Trump doesn't show I will be annoyed, really annoyed. If you are following what is happening here in France at the moment you will understand.

Queens Earl Grey (Darjeeling spoilt with bergamont.. sorry couldn't resist)

Blue Star Earl Grey (Black tea and flower petals.. according to the label)

French Earl Grey (a must here ... black tea, fruit, flower petals)

Earl Grey Organic (for really fussy friends.. label just says black tea, bergamot)

I hope you enjoy French pastries? They are always fresh as it's impossible for them to last a whole day with me around Shhh

Never seen Earl made with Darjeeling before. Usually it's Ceylonese black. Neat. Both my tea shops use organic in their Earl Greys so that's nothing special. Actually, I just got back from David's Tea with the following haul:

Cream of Earl Grey (mentioned above)
Blueberry Jam (black tea with blueberries and black currants)
David's Breakfast Blend (just a nice blend of black teas from India and Ceylon)

And French pastries are the best part of French cuisine in my books.glasses8

Ooh, tea and pastries! How can I resist! Thank you Hayley! :)

Yes, bergamot seems to be the marmite of tea flavours. You either love it or hate it! ☕

Good morning. I'll have a cuppa java to start the day, if you please.

Rehearsal today in an hour or so. Should be fun.

Happy tea time to everyone else.

* pours a tall glass of cold water *

Just in from raking. I hate deciduous trees. And I want my teenager back. Didn't rake all that much but the bags were heavy as hell. Lucky my back is still intact.

(Kidding about hating trees, BTW. Just hate cleaning up after them)

Nice to have you drop in. Help yourself to coffee and yummies anytime.

Anyone got anything exciting happening? New writing to talk about? Fun plans for the upcoming holidays (US Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's)?

I have a story underway but not for here. And it may fizzle out. Also plotting out the next adventure of the characters from Night of the Wind and that's what I'll write next (or maybe in parallel).

I'll point this out to Maggie. It's a new forum so perhaps something isn't set up just right. I know forum software can be fiddly sometimes.

It may simply take time for the posting you do to be reflected by the system. It can be slow generating messages on your profile.

Sip your cuppa java, Meg, and I'll have some as well. study And try to get back to sleep. thumbright

Nope. It's not working. None of my posts in this thread from this afternoon show in my forum posts, but my posts in the This and That thread and a couple other threads do. So it's not just a lag issue and it's not just rune. Maggie's been alerted and I'm sure it'll be something simple.

Getting late so I'm switching to herbal now. Hope everyone's had a good day.

Thank you, Larry. hello2 Having my coffee and will get back to sleep after my cup. This forum is not posting publicly from my newsfeeds too ... I saw the coffee shop when I visit the forum to look with 4 pages already and not one of your post I have seen on my feeds

Have a relaxing night everyone.

I tweaked one of the forum settings so coffee house and other Break Room posts should now appear on your profile. Please let me know if it still isn’t working properly.

Good morning, SS world! Just dropping by for a cuppa. Slept better last night so in a bit of a better mood. We had snow again this morning but, once again, it will be gone by end of day. Still too warm for it to last. My garage isn't going to be able to switch my tires for another week, so that's a good thing.

I'm a dark rich coffee person. I occasionally like the froo-froo blended coffees at Starbuck's and the like.

When I was a boy, there was a loose tea that came in a tin. It was called Constant Comment. The blend of orange peel and spices apparently was an old colonial recipe. I loved the scent it gave off as you sipped it.

That blend is still around. I think my local tea shop sells it (owner is English). Had it once but it's not quite my speed. Other than some Indian chais, I'm not crazy about spice teas.

This is the only tea I can tolerate, Genmaicha(HazelsHeaven's favorite tea) if I want to stay awake...
Japanese green tea combined with roasted brown rice.

My wife likes that type of tea. I'm not over fond of it myself. Love sencha on its own but the roasted rice doesn't click with me.

The smell of the roasted brown rice and it lessen the taste of the green tea. I would for that sencha, HazelsHeaven might like it
