Now watching Season 3 of Riviera. Not as compelling as Season 1 but not bad. The backdrops of the French Riviera and Venice are stunning, however.

Discovered the UK archaeology series Time Team. It originally ran 1994-2014 but they are now posting full episodes on their Youtube channel. It features a team archaeologists and related experts doing three day digs to investigate various sites around the UK. The host is actor-comedian Tony Robinson (who I know mainly as various incarnations of Baldrick in Blackadder) who seems to have done a lot of history stuff during that time period. Archaeology was a possible path for me back when I did my degree in classics (two of my profs, a married couple, were working archaeologists in their research semesters) so I enjoy watching archaeologists in action. It's like a mystery, finding clues and following the trail, but without the violence. The Goddess Dances - Winner - Cheers to 10 Years Flash The Berry Girl - Third place - Summer Word Bank

After a long, dry spell... TV wise, tonight I have the new season of Curse of Oak Island and on Friday I am really looking forward to Season Two of A Discovery of Witches. WooHoo! It is like London buses. Nothing for ages and then two come at once!

I am on a rewatch binge of 'Stargate SG1.' Presently in season 3. Liz and I have been watching 'Elementary,' a different take on Sherlock Holmes where Lucy Lui plays Watson based in modern-day New York City.
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.

Started watching Russian Doll on Netflix. It's listed under Comedy but it's more of a magic realist dramedy. It's about a woman who dies after her 36th birthday party, but keeps looping back to a moment at the party and then carrying on until she dies again. Each version of the party, aftermath, and death is different (I have kind of lost count of how many different ways she has kicked the bucket). Clearly, there's some deeper meaning here. It's only 8 episodes (with a second season starting production this coming Spring) so I should know soon. I loved Russian Doll (so did the late great Ping, who turned me on to it).
Currently watching WandaVision (awesome), Euphoria (good), and old reruns of The New Adventures of Old Christine. Recently finished off Pretend it's a City (awesome as well!).
