I wish to become an everyday athlete. Only self-discipline and resisting temptation stand in my way. Well, easily distracted might be in my way, too. And cake. Sigh, it's an uphill battle and I've never been an athlete in my life. I wish to become one. I only need to retire and focus. More difficult than I thought.d'oh!

I live, I love, I perform, and I lament.

I travel a lot but there's still lots of places on Earth I'd like to visit. Southeast Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, Spain (been to Valencia and Madrid but want to see more), some parts of China I haven't been to (my wife is Chinese so I have seen a fair bit of the country). I'd like to revisit a few places, too, esp. Paris and Rome.

Push my writing to another level and maybe get an actual novel or two out.

You’ll love them both, but avoid western Scotland in Summer, unless you don’t mind being bitten alive by midges (tiny mosquito-type critters)!

I don't have a 'Bucket List' as such but, aside from the seemingly impossible task of getting 'The Nurses' published, there is one place I really would love to visit. I love all things miniature and so, the place I really want t o see is...

The third part of this epic journey starts here... https://www.storiesspace.com/stories/drama/the-long-road-home-chapter-1.aspx

If anyone wishes to find the beginning of this epic saga, here it is:
