Letter E

Great round walls as white as milk.
A thin skin as soft as silk.
In a crystal fountain
A golden apple shall appear.
There are no doors to this strong hold
Yet theives break in and steal the gold.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

A sponge

Black we are and much admired.
Men will seek us if they're tired.
We tire the horses, yet confort men.
Tell me this riddle if you can.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

Beats me then. Could be anything edible or drinkable. The more you consume, the less of it remains visible. Or alcohol. Although, if you have enough of that, you'll see twice as much (though half as sharp).

But you can't catch a bowl full.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

Roads

Three old men are sitting on a curb. They are named wealth, success, and love. A man driving home stops in front the men who say if he welcomes one into his home, he will be blessed with that trait, but that he can only pick one of them. The man thinks for a while before making his choice. All three men get in the car. Which one did he pick?

I give. I'll make a better signature when I finally categorized those billion thoughts.

Love, he has a house that shows wealth. He drives a car and that shows success, he doesnt have love yet.

Just one color, but not one size.
Stuck to the ground, yet easily flies.
Present in sun, but not in rain.
Doing no harm and feeling no pain.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

A shadow? A shadow stays one color and when a plane leaves the ground the shadow stays. It creates a flying shadow. A shadow doesn't show up in rain and it only can show up when sun hits an object/living thing. A shadow can't feel pain or cause harm.

The poor have it, the rich want it and it's greater than God.

Nothing

I can sizzle like bacon,
I have plenty of backbone,
But lack a good leg,
I am made with an egg,
I peel layers like onions,
But still remain whole,
I can be long like a flagpole,
Yet fit in a hole.
What am I?

The word Seven

My first is in riddle, but not in little.
My second is in think, but not in brink.
My third is in thyme, but not in time.
My fourth is in mother, but not in brother.
My last is in time, but not in climb.

What am I?

Rhyme

Red within, black without,
All four corners round about.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

The answer was chimney. Guess that was a little too hard.

What strength and force cannot do.
I with a simple touch can do.
And many in the street would stand
If I were not a friend at hand.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

Yourself?

If you don't know this, then it's worth something.
But if you know this, it's worth nothing.
What is it?

My riddle has many Answers to it. :D

a) John correctly predicted the final score.
b) John correctly predicted the score “before [the game] starts”, as in he predicted 0–0 which was indeed the score before the game started.
c) John made a prediction, and the bet was only that he “can predict”, with no mention of “correctly predict”.

What year of this century is the same when its number is upside down? What year of the previous century is the same when inverted?
