If your story became a movie who would you want the main character to be played by?

For our poets who would you want read your poems outloud?

For just the readers on here. Pick your favorite story or poem on here and answer that question.

Never experienced it but well if it happened we would be sitting inside the home warmed up, drinking tea and worrying about the frozen water. Its pretty horrible if it happened here.

No. I do not celebrate Valentine's Day. It is commercialism pure and simple, which the average American spending more than $130 a year (as of 2013, have not seen data since then). I celebrate my love for the people in my life everyday. I regularly send 'flowers/chocolates' at random times, usually if the person is a little down. (Did that Monday with a beloved friend, Edible Arrangements is a great company and I use them often.) Most holidays have simply become commercial events that make corporations richer. I give from my heart, not based on a calendar.

Which is deeper; the love of romance, the love of friendship, or the love of family? I think this can be a very tough question or a very easy one based upon a person's convictions and beliefs.

Love of friendship. Because it isn't a blood bond, nor a romantic one. But actually based on trust and compassion and hurts a lot more.

Am I still in the lead for forum posts? I'm getting bored of this title.

It appears so Rebs. However, you have many other qualities in which you excel.

Makes me wonder, who do your think is number two behind Rebs?

Would you add your close friends (whom you care about) in a story just to show them how much they mean to you?

No I wouldn't, because if they know you then they know you care and you don't have to show how much.

Awkward and at a loss for words and actions. I'd like to be the person who is there with the sympathy, or whatever they need, but unfortunately, unless we're both crying about the same thing, I just don't really know how to react.

Is the truth* out there?

I have never watched X-files but aliens?

Just my humble opinion, of course they exist. That is, I am convinced earth is not the only planet where life developed. Whether there is intelligent life out there, and how intelligent that life is then, I don't know. Maybe some day mankind will find out, but the universe is so immense, that we may never know.

Do you believe we've already been visited by intelligent aliens?

Do you believe that Aliens made the X-files into a TV show?

No, but they may have been there in some kind of advisory capacity.

If you fell for a person, so much so that you became betrothed, would you still marry them, if you found out they were an alien?

'Alien' is such a pejorative term! I would yes. I think you fall in love with the soul of a person as well as there aesthetics. Anyway they might be a hot alien ;-)

So you meet a 'hot' Alien and they want you to return their library books for them. The books are late and a fine is due, do you do it and pay the fine?

Of course. If you truly love someone, it is for who she/he is, not for what, and it is unconditional.

Yes, I am. He is a Permanent Resident Alien (My Canadian hubby)

Do you think if aliens knew what our planet and people were like, they would still want to visit? Assuming they are a highly evolved intelligent life source.

They might, but that would largely depend on how they function and on whatvthey have and need. Do they have emotions and feelings or are their decisions purely based on logic. Do we have resources they need, is it worth the trouble, are they curious about us? They might look at us, like we look at gorillas. Conservate earth like we do the Serengeti. Or they might consider us vermin, that has to be exterminated to protect the valuable resources of earth
