Ah, the typographical error, one that can result in mirth from both the typoer and the typoee. Such mirth came when I was chatting to the awesome Poppet and typoed the word typo and trypo (which sounds like dog food to me) who suggested there should be a typo thread. So here I am, creating it. Go us and our crazy ideas.

Another of my personal favourites is asllowed, instead of allowed. My friend looked on and said it looks like "a robust fart". Mirth.

Aha, well, most of mine are because I hit wrong buttons (phone is all touch screen so I'll hit one and it'll type another) or I'm autocorrected or both. <--Like there, I almost typed 'must' instead of 'most' and 'rouch' instead of 'touch'... I think the worst one this week, so far, though, was 'stiff' instead of 'stuff'. Lol ^.^

Typos make life fun... or at least interesting.

*giggles* My most common typo is "shooping" instead of "shopping"... the first time I typed it, my mom was looking over my shoulder. I thought I'd never hear the end of it!

Yeah, I've forgotten a few times, even got posts deleted for it. It's a good exercise in using less... Crass language.

My keyboard is constantly messing up, so is I type really fast.... sometims the things tha I write don't always look riht, so Ihave to re-write my sentaence over and over and over again.

In the third chapter of Love's Transition, I wrote a sentence describing the main characters mouth when she woke up in her hospital room.

'My mouth felt like it was full of dessert sand, dry and gritty.'
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.

In one of the chapters of The Nurses I made a simple typo that would have made Officer Crabtree proud. (Google 'allo 'allo).

The phrase I wrote was... "Nein! Nicht scheißen!" I posted it like that and it was verified like that, and why wouldn't it be?
Unfortunately it should have read, "Nein! Nicht schießen!"
Notice the subtle difference?
ei instead of ie. Not a biggy, you might think except that Nicht schießen means "Don't shoot!"
Nicht scheißen means "Don't shit!"
