The we'll carry on as we may
Even though it's Monday
And I don't really want to play
Why can't we have wine all day?

Sure, I may pass out
But that's nothing to worry about
Let's have fun and not pout
Do you like sauerkraut?

I'm going to pour the wine now

I'm going to pour the wine now
To ease my mind
To free my tears
To breeze through time

I'm going to pour more wine
To forget my fears
To answer my demons
To relive past years

I'm going to pour more wine
Till the bottle is gone
To search your pictures
To understand this storm

I'm going to pour more wine
To forget you're passed
To remember your laughter
To wish I could kick cancers ass

I'm just going to pour more wine

I hope everyone is having a great day!!

If you have time, I hope you will stop by my page and read a few of my poems

I'm just going to pour more wine,
even though it ain't even noontime,
for wine is the order of the day,
so let's drink wine and roll in the hay.

do I still have to pay?
do I still have to care?
tell me, please, why should I?
tell me, please, who says so?

do I still have to show up?
do I still have to try?
tell me, please, what's the point?
tell me, please, when will I know?

do I still have to smile?
do I still have to pretend?
tell me, please, where did the time go?
tell me, please, how did it slip away?

do you know the who-what-where-when-why and how of it all?
tell me, please

Tell me, please,
why my knees bend backwards?
Did someone install a hinge on them?
It's been like this for days now.
I'm back to front,
my mind's taken a dunt.

Life's a...
suspended show,

If your knee bends backwards
You'll be upended, you know,

You'll fall on your nose,
So crinkle your toes,
Dig them deep in the earth,
Then drag them in rows...

A row of ellipses
Is a metaphor,
You know

For life in suspension,
Unchanging, inane,
Is not a life lived,
It's nothing but a prolonged pain.

It's nothing but a prolonged pain.
But no pain, no gain, eh?
Whomever wrote that one was a sadist or masochist.
What's the gain of pain?
More pain.
Stupid phrase, that.
I'd rather sit out in the rain, than to feel pain.

I'd rather sit out in the rain, than to feel pain.
Tears running down your cheeks in vain.
Not able to take that away for you is my drain.
I'd rather sit in the rain, than see you feeling pain.

I'd rather sit in the rain, than see you feeling pain,
If you need to ask why,
I will not explain,
It should be obvious
And make sense to one who knows
That I would protect you from
all of life's woes,
As I sit in the rain
Until it washes away your sorrow.

Until it washes away your sorrow
and eases the pain within
we'll watch the sunrise tomorrow
and not look back again

And not look back again,
there's no point, my friend

The past is behind us
Never finished, I know,

We cast such long shadows
Sometimes learn, rarely grow

At best we move onwards
Do not repeat what went before;

Search always for meaning
Sadly
There is none on our shore

Never trust what you believed before
Nothing but a pack of lies
Follow your thoughts and forever more
Trust the evidence of your own eyes

Trust the evidence of your own eyes.
If you don't you'll find that time flies
and all you've got to show is a bunch of badly baked pies.

If the meat looks rancid,
throw it out.
If she has a propensity to pout,
find a window.
If he has sin,
let him in.

Or do what you like,
it's your own life.
Just trust me on the eye using.

Of my mind which I am losing,
Certainly
Not of my chosing

It is due
Sadly
To sloppy writing
lazy indifference
incorrect spelling

And,

You know

Other grammatical

STUFF!!!!!

Losing,
Choosing
Shmoozing,
Abusing,

Get it together
While refusing
The nonsense
Above

Write well
Correct your text
Be clear and concise

That is all for now

I wish you good night,
Let in the cat,
And turn out the lights.

Let in the cat and turn out the lights,
Leave the cruel world without
Sit by the fire on the cold winter nights
For your own home is best without doubt.

For your own home is best without doubt.
So run around, twist and shout!
No, don't pout!

Twist and shout without a doubt,
don't even think about doing the pout,
or I might have to throw you in the moat
take all your groats and steal your boat.

So, yeah... Stuff and noise.

So, yeah ... Stuff and noise,
Children playing,
Both girls and boys

Beneath my window,
In the park,
After school's out,
Before it gets dark

Vacation comes,
Or rain and storms,
Instead of playing then
They go to their homes,

Stay safe and well
Small people all,
Your presence amongst us
Is the most important of all.

Is the most important of all
Spring, Summer or Fall

What about the season Winter
Can we forget and be a sprinter

Run away to find a sunny day
Or inside our crazy minds play

Amongst the fields of green
Proof that envy can't be seen

Proof that envy can't be seen,
It hides undetected, awaking from slumber.
Green is the color when
Desired results aren't in order.

Be happy and grateful for what you have,
For whom you are.
No one can be you except you.
Don't be jelly, strive to be better than your old self.

Love yourself, for no one will love you
More than you.
No one is you and that is your power.
Never let anyone take that away.

Never let anyone take that away
What you really are inside
Keep all the naysayers at bay
And the people who say you can't
You will go your own way

Take the power back
Take control
Be yourself
And show them who you really are
And what you are capable of.

And what you are capable of,
Do you really know?
Can you fight the battle,
Or will you keep your head low?

Will you take the insults
Or stand up proud and tall?
Will you cower in the corner,
and hide behind the wall?

For life, my friend is what you make it.
For you to shape, not me..
So stand up tall and be counted
And forge your destiny!

Forge your destiny,
Set despair aside,
Don't crumble at adversity
Take it in stride

Rise above it,
No need for a plan
Take what comes and
Things will be grand.

Things will be grand,
when it's all in your hand.
What's in my hand?
Just a buncha NAND.

Just a buncha NAND
Dropped out of the sky

From a pigeon courrier
Who was winging over, on high

Why had the messenger bird
Been carrying the NAND?

Simple, you see,
To fly over the barbed wire
And on the other side
To give the NAND
Containing the music
To the band that was hired
To play music tonight
While you dance and cavort.

While you dance and cavort
I'll be close by to hold court
against any who would consort
with the keeper of your best port

to take possession of said wine
so you'd be without it by design
when twas time for you to dine
with the elite and refined

but that night twill go without a hitch
for in their plan I threw a glitch
for the wine, vinegar was switched
and you life was then much enriched

And your life was then much enriched
To know these special people
To have them in your life
To know that you are loved

Making someone happy is an amazing thing
Loving someone
And being loved in return
The best feeling in the world.

The best feeling in the world,
well, that would be sex,
no, not sex... Love!
Making love?
No, just love.

That weird squishy feeling,
the butterflies that turn to bats,
the hugs and kisses.
All the trappings of love.

Love has me trapped,
and I'm rapt.
So go on, get yourself zapped!
