The vote time delay is really out of sorts. I vote on a poem that's only a dozen lines long. Then read another micro story that is 10 lines long and I get a message that I can't vote on another story for 5 minutes. Why should I sit and wait 5 minutes when it only took seconds to read it?

This delay on micro stories, etc. has kept me from voting on several stories/poems. It is a delay that is not in reality to what we are reading. If it were stories that were 1000 words or more I could see that, but its not.

I think there's a 3 minute wait minimum on voting...

HTH.

PURE SPECULATION on my part, but by having a delay, it may slow down some malicious "low scoring" whereby a person would not even read ... just low score it. I understand your question / frustration, but its probably there for a reason.
