LGL What's the point in trying anything if failure is NOT an option. We will never learn what our abilities are nor our limitations.

Hmmmm, take over the world.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

Open my own successful dinner theater. (I am thinking Alice in Wonderland to be my opening show)

Well, I think that if there were no limits to what we could accomplish, we would aim higher. If we never aim higher than our limitations, we may never be a part of the solution to some of the world's most daunting issues. The point of this post was to get us to dream bigger than we are used to dreaming...

― Thomas A. Edison

“Negative results are just what I want. They’re just as valuable to me as positive results. I can never find the thing that does the job best until I find the ones that don’t.”

Well you see, I been planning that once I take over the world I was going to go the full mile of Eco friendly. That means electric cars, cleaner fuels, solar panels and all that stuff. And everywhere I want forests and greenery and gardens! Everyone gets fed and everyone who refuses to abide by my rules which is to promote equality. I will send them to a secluded area where they can be corrupt all they want. And then explore the oceans more and build under water cities.

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

Well um... thanks guys... Pray I think I'll need all the help I can get though... but thanks for your support.

Now back to the original intent of this forum, what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail in the end?

Because I can,
because I want to,
And because who are you to tell me otherwise?

If I knew I couldn't fail in the end, I would change the world, one person at a time....hey, I guess I am already doing it!

I think, in the end, the only way to fail is to do nothing. Sometimes, we are but a drop of water in the pond, and it will take a whole lot more like us to fill the pond, but each one of us is important. It doesn't matter if we are the first, the last, or one of the gazillion in between, all that matters is that we show up and take our place, doing what we should do.

If I knew I couldn't fail, I'd look for something at which I could fail. (How's THAT for circular logic?) icon_smile

If knew I could never fail, I would run full speed towards every goal and ambition and never look back.... Looking back means you are checking for a place to fall when all else fails... to never look back would mean, to never fail...

so my answer is thrive, stride, be all that I can be and never look back!

Yup, I'd love that. Whilst you're here, you could spend a wee bit of time seeing the sights and meeting my family and friends. I just hope you've got enough room for three guitars, a massive subwoofer, my laptop and my music center with the huge speakers. Oh and my hats and Kitty ears. Come to think of it, I'd buy you some whilst you were here.

Ghosts, flamingos, guitars and vodka. Don't forget Kitty and Kitten. Eclectic subjects, eccentric stories:

I would make sure no one ever went hungry again.

You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
