Hello everyone, I dropped in when Lisa began following me on Twitter. Seems like a nice site. I'm going to check out the features.

I was given the link by a fellow writer. We were writing short stories on another site and wanted to find a place for our general fiction. Glad I clicked on the link - the site looks promising.

I knew of it's existence from being on another site and then started lurking here. I read a story by a really great author and wanted to comment, so I signed up. Then came the poetry, almost out of the blue (pun unintended, sorry). I say almost because I was drinking the subject of the poems and well, she makes me rapturous.

Ghosts, flamingos, guitars and vodka. Don't forget Kitty and Kitten. Eclectic subjects, eccentric stories:

Humorous guide & Recommended Read =^.^= How To Make a Cup of Tea
A flash fiction series :) A Random Moment in Time
A love poem <3 Kitty & Kitten
Editors' Pick! :D I Am The Deep, Dark Woods
And another EP!: The Fragility of Age

I remote viewed this website, in February 2010 after overhearing a couple of hot babes tossing ideas around, elsewhere. I was able to determine then that a nice young lady whom I knew as Lois Lane would pull my chain in September of that year about its actual existence.

Thanks Louise happy8

Tell me a fact and I’ll learn. Tell me a truth and I’ll believe. But tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever. I heard this from Steve Sabol about his father.

I found a tweet about the "Light/Dark" fiction contest and was intrigued. It's exciting to find a place to "hang out" with fellow writers. (Still not sure where the site is based. UK? Australia????)

It's a BIG secret and I ain't gonna tell you...mainly 'cause, by now, I've sort of, you know, forgotten...except, maybe it had something to do with tracking down Dirty Martini to discuss a certain bar tad.
