I have a lot of things that I wanted to do before death calls me. In the top of my lists is to travel around the world, meeting new people and experiencing their culture and practices. I also wanted to meet stars and have a photo with them. But most of all I want to have my own happy family and be able to published books (hopefully) that a lot of people will love.

Writing is not our JOB, it's OUR PASSION!

I want to locate the gravesites of my GGF's back through 12th GGF in England. He was born in 1501. If not the actual gravesite, then the graveyard known with certainty. Genealogy work can sure be a lot of fun and can "consume" you!!

Agreed!

Let's see... travel through my country, exploring and learning (with Andrew), travel the world (with Andrew), open a bakery, publish some books, publish a poetry collection, open a... I guess you'd call it a half way house for the homeless and otherwise with specific rules of course, build my dream house... and own both a '30 Oldsmobile Deluxe sedan, and a '38 Ford Pickup (with the only modification being that it has the "invisible doors")...

yeah, I don't want much, do I?

Check out my website The Wandering Squirrel

I blame you, AriesDragon, for this one.

I want to see a herd of elephants in their natural environment and just... recognize the beauty of it :) there are a lot of magnificent and gorgeous creatures all over the world and what am I doing in life if I don't experience at least a fraction of the sites and sounds of this wonderful Earth?

You really must, you have to, and soon... before it's too late. We have a heartbreaking battle on our hands, and as the demand for Ivory increases, with the growing middle class Chinese population, so the herds decrease. Ounce for ounce, Ivory is more valuable than gold, and a large portion of this money goes on to fund terrorism. It is estimated we loose an elephant every 15 mins. They die in the most barbaric of ways, often having their faces hacked apart before they are dead. At this rate, Elephants will be extinct by 2025, if not before.

Like many of us here, I guess, the dream of being a published author figures large. If I could achieve that I would die a happy man.

I saw am unfinished piece that was your Masterpiece...the buffalo in the grass. To me, the "spirit" of the animal was stronger in your sketch lines than your finished work.

Just my humble opinion ... what do I know about art?dontknow

I have a bucket list. It lists all the countries/places I want to visit. It wasn't very long but now... Every time I travel to a new country/place that wasn't on the list initially... I add it ... then cross it off. My list is now more than one page and most of it is crossed off. This is weird.

Take a road trip from Kenya to Cape town in South Africa, following the east side of Africa, through Tanzania and Mozambique. Spend some time with family and friends in SA then head back up through Namibia, up the skeleton coast and then across into Botswana, to the Okavango, into Zimbabwe to Victoria falls on the Zambia border, white water rafting, then head back through Tanzania home to Kenya.
