Mussels... or clams or you prefer.

Garlic, shallot and lemon zest with a bit olive oil. Then toss in some champagne. Bring to a boil. Throw in clams or mussels.

Sprinkle with parsley and lemon.

A loaf of baguette is nice.

Spoken like a true writer. I could say a character in some dark, melancholy novel saying this.

Spaghetti using leftover sauce (mostly homemade).

I like to write something a little eerie or spooky for Hallowe'en every year. "Haunting" is what I went for this year.
