Feeling the tears welling up as you watch the emotional impact of a wonderfully produced performance of Angels in America.
The soft caress of your lover's lips as you greet and embrace each other after a lengthy separation so very far apart.
Relaxing with a good book (or even, depending on mood, a bad one)
A bike ride or walk on a nice day (vs. today when doing either will lead to a competition between frostbite and hypothermia to see who gets to you first)
Putting on some Beethoven (other composers might suffice at times, but Beethoven is my go-to when I need a pick me up)
Snuggling under my favorite blanket with my favorite book
A good movie
Fresh cut flowers
Going for a walk a sunny day just moseying
Going into a dusty antique store and finding that one thing you just have to have.
Having the best hand at the poker table and knowing it.
A long drive in the mountains.
Seeing the early morning sun illuminate the green hillside on the opposite side of the valley.
