I can’t believe I left Gunsmoke off mine (an oversight since rectified). It holds a place of honor with me for a number of reasons. elizabethblack wrote:As I think of them (and it may take a long time to remember them all) - Justified, The Sopranos, A lot of my friends talk about Justified, but I’ve never watched it. I need to fix that situation, from all I’ve heard. Connect with Maggie

Like Elizabeth I am a little shy in the memory department. Luckily we can edit these posts. I will just start here with these: Corner Gas (extremely popular Canadian show) Tonight Starring Jack Paar (he followed Steve Allen leading this show) Love, Sidney (Tony Randall and Swoosie Kurtz) The Great British Baking Show (Just what it says) Absolutely Fabulous (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) The Young Ones (British sitcom)

As a kid, I loved the Jack Webb shows that were purportedly "based on real life". Things like Adam-12 (police) and Emergency (fireman-paramedics). They were basically just recruiting videos for the first responder services in the end. Not sure how they'd hold up if I watched them again today. Featured Story:Night of the Wind - (Fantasy) A mysterious traveller, a strange storm, a chaotic night for a small town.Other works:Spooky People - (Poetry) A playful verse for Hallowe'en. On Seeing the Light (Re)born - (Poetry) A reflection on seeing the sun rise while on vacation Voice of Ice - (Horror) A powerful winter storm leads a professor to a disturbing discovery

My wife and I love Columbo and have probably seen all of them, both original and revival, at this point. Even the bad ones are worth watching to see Peter Falk (RIP) in action. One of the best sitcoms ever made. When we passed through Cincinnati on the way home from Tennessee this summer, the theme started playing in my head as soon as I saw the skyline. Featured Story:Night of the Wind - (Fantasy) A mysterious traveller, a strange storm, a chaotic night for a small town.Other works:Spooky People - (Poetry) A playful verse for Hallowe'en.
